Okay, so I've been neglecting this blog. It's like a puppy that I promised to take care of, but then handed to the doggie-hotel for a bit while I did other stuff.
Anyway, I decided to make it up to you, my readers!
I'll post some poetry that I've been working on lately!
Yay~~
Anyway, here goes. The tables might mess up, so I may have to revise and edit the format.
Tears by Cat
When the tears stain my face
When the tears are awash with pain
When the tears slip by, so silent
When the tears have begun
Then they give a tale of sorrow
Then they wish for release
Then they wait for the world to see
Then they go unnoticed
And
They
Fall
To
The
Ground
Rain by Cat
Rain’s a song And songs are sung Not for you But for the world | Distraught life Of rain’s own line Different Than snow and grief | Grief’s a death But life’s the same Soon enough You’ll know and see | Snow is joy While rain, somber Given peace I held once close |
Memory by Cat
Can’t you see Beyond this time When fae placed Your fate with mine? | I suppose Once more, again We will say, “Remember when?” |
Seasons Changing by Cat
Summer’s long since faded And winter draws near Scattered moments brush past You can’t escape time’s unrest |
Snow by Cat
Crystals fall With sounds so dear Sculpted perfection; My heart cries out |
The Dance by Cat
The excitement, the promise The rhythm, the grace | When will you notice Sweet love’s embrace? |
Unrequited by Cat
Tears run red, and my sanity loosens. Can you hear it, the beating of my long-gone heart? As you run your fingers across my cheek, you note that moist symbol of sorrow I cannot bear to see that concern stain your face, but I can never let you understand. I can’t let you go. |
Droplets by Cat
Rain drops; pitter-pat
tap-tap-tapping on the windows
empty, white, barren
This room holds nothing of consequence
Tear drops; sniffle-sob
drip-drip-dripping to the floor
cold, clear, useless
This tear holds nothing of consequence
Life drops; crinkle-crack
fall-fall-falling from my life
timid, dark, jagged
This life holds nothing of consequence
Niagara by Cat
Crashing water
Churning water
rushing past the rocks to fall
to the plummet, to the plunge
Death and Birth anew recall
